Antique samplers,Textiles, Period antique English sampler. This "Antique English Textile Sampler circa 1800" measures 22 and three quarters inches wide by 19 and one eighth inches tall outside the frame. The textile image measures 17 and seven eighths inches wide by 14 and three eighths inches tall. This is a wonderful piece. Depicts people,parrots,workmen,fences,flowers,lion,trees,and the stone and brick work look of early English houses. There is tremendous detail. One small whole at the very top. Dates from 1803.Retains its original birdseye maple frame and old wavy glass
