Antique American Sampler Mary Debenham C1804

Samplers,"Antique samplers" textiles,Antique American samplers,Early samplers,Fine quality sampler sewn by Mary Debenham c1804. This sampler measures 9 and one half inches by 16 inches and depicts birds, trees, animals, butterflies, numbers, the alphabet, and numbers.the colors are shades of brown, green and light aqua. This period sampler came to us from a Connecticut estate. Excellent condition.

Antique Victorian textile needlepoint framed

Antique needlepoint,Victorian needlepoint in original birdseye maple frame. This textile, needlepoint is probably English hand done around 1860. The hand work is just fantastic obviously done by some one that was highly skilled with the most beautiful execution of detail and design. The scene depicts two small children from the highlands in a landscape scene with blue sky, trees,and a feather in the little boys hand. The original birdseye maple frame measures 32 inches high by 26 inches wide. The needlepoint measures 21 and one half inches by 26 and three quarters inches. This is with out a doubt one of the best mid to late 19th century hand done needlepoints we have handled.

Antique "Turkish textiles". Turkish Mirror Cover, Antique textile Uzbek Aynalick,this mirror cover measures 24 inches by 26 inches with a 28 inch contemporary frame. The design is yellow, blue,white, black geometrics and swirls embroidered onto a soft red back ground. The condition of this antique 19th century Turkish mirror cover is excellent. It has a lovely fringe all around its outside borders.
