Mid Century Modern rosewood tea cart. This "Rosewood teacart" is marked furniture makers control Danish underneath and dates from the 1950 period. This tea cart is solid rosewood. This Mid Century Modern Danish furniture Tea cart measures 29 and one half inches long,19 inches wide and 23 and one half inches high. The top slides and then hinges open two double in size acting as a small server measuring 59 inches wide. The bottom tray removes and measures 19 and three quarter inches by 14 inches. This is a fantastic hard to find vintage piece of Modern Danish rosewood furniture.The Danish Furniture makers Quality Control is an association of leading Danish furniture manufacturers. Its objective is to guarantee consumers and retailers a perfect product and a level of quality, which fulfills the strict requirements for material and workmanship, laid down in the articles of the association.

Cecile Dreesmann Turquoise Tree needle sculpture.. From the Series "Out of my Dream Garden" with turquoise and Freshwater Pearls. Measures 5 inches by 6 and one half inches.Cecile Dreesmann was born orn and raised in Amsterdam Holland. Exhibited in Brussels,Hamburg,Cape Town, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Honolulu, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Palm Beach "The Potted Orange" Gallery, Hammond Museum NY ,England, Canada, Mexico, Holland, Paris, and Germany. When she held a two week exhibition in picturesque Laren, just outside of Amsterdam 12,000 people came and it was a complete sell out. H. R. H. Prince Bernhard spent several hours at the exhibition, followed a few days later by his daughter the Crown Princess Beatrix, both collectors of Miss Dreemanns work. She authored countless books and articles on embroidery and related subjects. The precious and semi precious stones are all set in gold and cut to her specifications,drilled and or set so that the could be stitched on the background material,which was woven especially for her in Italy. She received Knighthood in the Order of Oranje Nassau,conferred upon her by H. M. Queen Juliana of the Netherlands.

African Yoruba beaded dance ceremony cape

African Yoruba tribe beaded dance ceremonial costume cape. This fantastic African tribal ceremony cape by the Yoruba tribe has some of the best bead work we have encountered. The cape measures 46 inches high by 42 inches wide and beaded on both front and back. The all over design depicts alligators,natives,birds,animals and African tribal designs. The Yoruba tribe is located near the Congo in Cabinda (Angola).

Antique carpet, Sarouk Persian Oriental rug c1920. This lovely Sarouk oriental rug just came to us from an Essex CT estate,. It is in very good condition with out wear and has excellent blue and red colors. This Sarouk measures 11 feet two inches by 6 feet eight inches.
